Ever wonder how you write reality TV? As soon as I tell people I've written for Nat Geo's Alaska State Troopers and was an Associate Producer on A&E's Emmy-nominated Hoarders, this is the first question out of their mouths.
The answer?
Well, when I was living in Seattle, I spent many of my days plopped down in front of a monitor sifting through 30 hours of video transforming it into a 25 minute script. Some people would call this hell, but for me it was pure joy.
While working in Seattle’s TV industry, I fine tuned my writing chops. But since then, I’ve broadened my skill set.
From scriptwriter, to author, to ghostwriter
I've spent far more time traveling than most responsible adults should—visiting dozens of countries in Asia, Australia, and North America.
I've traveled so much that in 2014 I was compelled to write a book of tips to help 20-somethings get abroad. Little did I know that this first work would eventually kick off my author career—leading to 10 published books that have generated over $100,000 in sales within 3 years.
All the while, I’ve helped clients leverage my skills. Helping them stand out from the crowd with books, videos, webinars, and ghostwritten articles that position them as thought leaders.
A decade-ish in the tech, cybersecurity, and health industries
I got started in tech, cybersecurity, and health back in 2015 while working as a copywriter and head blog manager for Pronto Marketing’s 1,000+ clients. I quickly learned that tech and health companies needed to cut the geek speak to connect with their audiences.
To this day, I still help simplify my clients' tech and health ideas into layman's terms. Because expertise is nothing if your audience can’t understand you.
And that’s exactly what I can do for you.
Help you speak your audience’s language—transforming you into a friendly, knowledgeable source of expertise.
A thought leader.
Outside the writing world, I'm an obsessive NBA fanatic and hardcore meditator, practicing meditation and mindfulness for nearly 20 years.
