Below is a graph of my total book orders in my 10-year author career. Sales peaked in 2021 when I was actively marketing my books as a part-time job. I shifted gears in 2022 to focus predominantly on freelancing as I felt that book marketing was distracting me from finding the success I wanted as a freelancer. 

Top 1% of Authors

In 2021, I was in the top 1% of authors. This group consists of authors that sell $1,000 or more in books a month. Below is a screenshot of my earnings records from book sales in 2021. I hit $1,000+ in royalties for every month except June. 

Book Launches for Clients (Paid)

I launched the books of five clients between 2020 and 2022. In the latter half of those launches, I would average 300-500 sales in the first month the book was live. While I don't have graphs of the actual sales numbers, I do have Kindle book rankings from some of these launches. 

To give you some context, a 3,525 books sales ranking equates to 61 sales in a single day (According to Kindlepreneur sales calculator).

I've broken into the Top 100 most ordered free books on the entire Amazon store multiple times. The one from the left (76) is for a client and the one on the right (57) is for one of my books.

I provided the concept/sketch of the cover for Cate and also suggested the book cover title so that we would focus on the transformation, instead of a simple how-to.

While I don't have the technical know-how (Photoshop skills) to design a cover, I sketched out each of these covers before handing them off to a designer. These are some of my favorite covers and best selling books.
